Friday 7p – “Take-over!
Eva & Patricio will be taking over our Friday Night Tango Practica! Lesson & Practica 7pm-8:30pm (additional practica time available in the smaller room 8:30p-midnight).
Tango foundation – Back to basics with exercises for posture, balance, embrace. Explore some popular figures and technique.
8:30p Tango Practica moves to 2nd room & Latin dance (includes mini lesson) in main ballroom. $35 covers your entire night. – cash or card ahead or at the door

Saturday 1-4p – Workshops
Part 1: Warm up, tango technique for leads and follows.
Turns. Fundamental concepts and variations.

Part 2: Sacadas, technqiue and combinations into turns.
Price: $80 for 1 workshop day or $150 for 2 workshop days (Sat & Sun) – cash or card ahead or at the door

Saturday 8p – Milonga & Show
Come out and dance with us in Tacoma on Saturday Feb. 2!!!
Eva & Patricio are hosting this Milonga as part of their weekend of Tango!
Pre-Milonga class at 8pm by Patricio & Eva.
Tango show by Patricio Touceda & Eva Lucero.
Dance the night away with the best tandas by Guest DJ from Seattle Andre Brown!!! And, the best of all, YOU!
Price: Milonga $15 or Class+Milonga: $25 – cash or card ahead or at the door

Sunday 1-4p – Workshop
Part 1: warm up, tango technique for leads and follows.
Counter body movements. Introduction to the popular Boleo.

Part 2: Front and back Boleos, combinations into turns and with Ochos
Price: $80 for 1 workshop day or $150 for 2 workshop days (Sat & Sun) – cash or card ahead or at the door

More info about Eva & Patricio

Eva and Patricio have danced together since 2001. Both of them started dancing at a very young age. They have more than 20 years of experience as professional dancers. In the last decade Eva and Patricio starred in different major productions, the most notorious include Luis Bravo’s Forever Tango Show; and ZAIA, the first show staged by Cirque du Soleil in Macau.
Since 2012 they featured dancers of “Let’s Dance” a symphonic Pops concert with the finest philharmonic orchestras of the U.S.A. In January 2015 they debuted “Tango Caliente” a collaboration with Maestro Jeff Tysik to create a unique symphonic Tango concert with dancers, singers and musicians. The concert is presented throughout North America.

Eva Lucero & Patricio Touceda have a great reputation as tango instructors. They have taught in Argentina and traveled many times around the world to teach special workshops to students of all levels. They participated in the Argentine Tango U.S.A Tango festival for 6 consecutive years, The Day of Tango in Austin, Argentine Tango summit in Toronto, Portland Tango Fest, Valentango Festival and more. In the Seattle area, they have contributed to grow and promote Argentine Tango for the last 15 years.
